Realistic March Goals

AH, THE FRESHNESS THAT COMES WITH THE BEGINNING OF A NEW MONTH.

Happy March! It's sad how happy I've been to get a fresh start these past few months. The beginning has promise but by the end it's turned sour. Crossing my fingers this doesn't happen again this month.

For starters, lemme recap how I did for February's goal:

1. Buy a vehicle. This is ESSENTIAL. Well, I haven't actually BOUGHT a vehicle yet, but I have the cash pulled out of my bank account, have done mad research, test drove a car, and have 2+ appointments for this Wednesday, so this is promising!
2. Create a realistic and maintainable budget on paper/in excel format so that I can hold myself accountable to every penny I spend. I'mma be completely honest, I didn't work on this at all.
3. Read my three new books; The Body Book by Cameron Diaz, Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, and You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero. I only started reading Big Little Lies but I'm actually almost done and it's SO FREAKING GOOD. Like, I need to write a review and read all her other books.
4. Do something cute, hand-made, and special for my sweetie for Valentine’s Day. I made the CUTEST HANDMADE CARD. And then also bought $200 concert tickets for his birthday...
5. Get a move on in this blog – set it up on Bloglovin’, figure out what the heck an RSS feed is, try to get comments enabled and a newsletter – generally a giant list of things I have absolutely no idea how to do. (FYI: This blog is never going to have one of those fancy headers called “Blog Resources” like most successful blogs do because I don’t know the difference between CSS and SEO… so there’s that). I may not have any followers or readers but DAMNIT I'm proud of how good this blog looks and how many things I've done for it.
6. In the theme of Valentine’s Day pampering, take care of MYSELF more. I've done my nails twice this month, plus a coconut oil hair treatment. #pampered #blessed
7. Pass Spinning certification and get assigned at least one Spin class to teach at the gym I work at! So I haven't passed the online exam yet (on the to-do list for Thursday) but I did complete the workshop and have started making Spin profiles!

So I didn't do TOO badly!
I always make super crazy goals for myself that I know I probably won't be able to accomplish, ugh. With all that being said, here are my semi-realistic goals for March!!!

1. Buy a vehicle. I MEAN IT THIS TIME.
2. Eat clean. Don't eat a single item of processed sugar. Not a single one. When the temptation strikes, eat fruit or drink tea or make a smoothie.
3. Be active AF. Hit daily step goal every single day. Go for a walk outside every day that it's nice out.
4. Get your read on. Finish reading Big Little Lies and then really dive into The Body Book.
5. Be proactive. Plan out breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire month.
6. Out with the old. Spring clean my room and my closet. Donate/sell anything that I haven't worn in a year/that doesn't fit in with my current personal style.
7. You are #1. Continue to take care of myself because it felt damn good. Do my nails. Treat my hair. Shave my legs more often... GET A MASSAGE.
8. Try something new! Take a Zumba class, a Yoga class, and a Bootcamp style class booked through my amazing new fitness find, the MindBody app.

YOU CAN DO IT.
